The amateur radio F-1 CubeSat was built by the FSpace team of young
engineers and students at the FPT University. F-1 is planned to deploy
from the International Space Station (ISS) in the second J-SSOD pod on
Thursday, September 27 at about 1630-1640 UT.

Thu Trong Vu XV9AA provides an update on the CubeSat and asks other
radio amateurs around the world to assist in tracking and decoding the
telemetry from F-1 callsign XV1VN.

On October 4, 2012 five CubeSats were successfully deployed from the International Space Station (ISS). The first pod containing RAIKO and WE-WISH was deployed at 1437 UT while the second pod containing FITSAT-1, F-1 and TechEdSat deployed at 1544 UT.
