SDR# Plug-in: Frequency Scanner updated
« Gepost op: 26 maart 2020, 17:16:43 »
This plug-in version adds/changes and fixes some items:
Code:

v1.2.0.0

Changed: Graphic for 'Lock' and 'Unlock' buttons in Channel analyser.

Changed: Channel analyser buttons 'Lock' and 'Unlock' are disabled during scanning to avoid accidental usage.

Changed: Reworked UI for better visibility on Telerik SDR# (1717+) and darker themes.

Added: 'Configure' - option for adjusting fade speed for on screen buttons in channel analyser.

Added: Quick zoom function (when scroll wheel clicked)

Changed: On screen 'Now Playing'
- Previously this has been made up of 'Frequency Group Name' (as sourced from the 'Frequency Manager' plug-in database)
- It will now display in the following format: 'Frequency: Group - Name'

Added: 'Now Playing' file which can be used when streaming audio (via Icecast + butt or RadioFeed) with ability to synchronize to audio.

Fixed: 'Edit scan ranges' - When exiting a empty field, it would cause an exception.

Fixed: On occasions when scanner stopped, an exception would occur.

Added: Ability to run scanner without channel analyser.

Fixed: When scanner was stopped, some code was left running which continued to consume CPU cycles (6% for me).

Added: On SDR# start-up, the Frequency scanner plug-in will backup the 'scanner_entryes.xml' to 'scanner_entryes.xml.bak'.

Added: Option to restrict set/clear of lockouts and lockout range to bottom 80-100% of channel analyser panel.

Added: PDF Documentation
- Please read it

see 'changelog.txt' for full list and details.

his plug-in version adds/changes and fixes some items:
Code:
Summary of changes

1.3.0.0 - Release

Added: PDF Documentation
- Please read it

Added: 8.33 Khz channel selector

Added: Channel analyser range colours

Added: Disable channel analyser refreshing (after 300 seconds)

Change/Added: Noise protection delay
- Now adjustable for ON(new) and OFF
This should minimise/stop the mute chopping in and out that was more noticable when using SDR# 1717+.

Changed: 8.33 KHz start frequency rounding

Changed: Zoom (Scrollwheel and quick)
- Two types of zoom focus have been created.
-- 1. Will zoom in on (last) active frequency. (New)
-- 2. Will zoom in on position of mouse cursor.

Fix: Crash when click 'lockout'/ 'remove lockout' buttons when active frequency is not in view (zoomed in)
- Will now hear beep when this condition exists. No lockout state will be changed. (Frequency must be in view)

Changed: Allow SDR# mute to be manually changed while scanner is in paused condition.
- This will mean that SDR# mute will not automatically function in the paused state.

Added: Ability to scan with correct 8.33 Khz step size for Airband.

1.3.0.1 - Release (Minor)

Fixed: 'Auto skip' is not muting when it continues scanning
- When 'Audio mute' and 'Auto skip' is used and SDR# squelch is not used.
When auto skip continues the scan, the SDR# mute is not re-activated making the noise floor heard until next active frequency found.
- Also applies to Next/Previous buttons.

1.3.1.0

Fixed: 'Configure' lost click events for controls
- When re-arranging the 'Configure' window, click events where lost which caused some of the controls not to
   register any changes.

Fixed: 'Configure' Noise protection delay 'ON'
- The introduction of this option was causing the auto audio mute not to function properly when
Forward/Reverse/Lockout buttons and auto skip and direct manual lockout where used.
- Reversed some changes in v1.3.0.1 as those change where caused by this issue.

Added: 'Force manual audio mute when paused' option in 'Configure' > 'Scanner'
- This was default action since v1.2.2.6, this is no longer the case.
- As a result of other changes, forcing a manual audio mute is not really needed now as changing the
frequency while paused activates that frequency to allow the auto muting to function as expected.
- I added as option to allow those who may still like manual control of mute while paused.

Added: PDF Documentation
- Please read it

1.3.2.0

Changed: Stored settings entries have been prefixed (fScanner.) to help group them in SDR# '.Config' file.
- This means that you will need to reconfigure the plug-in for this release.

Added: Channel analyser button to quick toggle the zoom type (Z1/Z2)
- Button is located to the right of the 'Remove lockout' button.
- Z1 = Centred zoom.
  Z2 = Cursor position zoom.
- This is the same as using 'Disable focus zoom on active frequency' option in 'Configure'

Changed: Mouse cursor frequency label position.
- Vertical position is now variable depending on mouse position in channel analyser.

Changes: To various channel analyser code
- Moved some parts of the code into relevent sections.
- Trigger and Hysteresis line changed to a dash line.
- Mouse cursor vertical line changed to a dotted line.
- Side scale was not offset correctly.

Fixed: The last defined frequency range if selected (in plug-in side panel) was not restored to been
        selected on SDR# start.

Fixed: Auto audio mute did not mute when manually pause on active frequency then lock it out then play again.
